Three Things & a giveaway winner!

1. I lost 2 pounds this week. Well technically since monday, so I figure thats pretty good. I have 2 more pounds to get back to pre-holiday weight, and although tonight wasn't perfect, I'm heading in the right direction. I got my tempo run in today. I had to cut it 1 mile short, since I was running out of time. I'm hoping to get to the pool and do a little strength training tomorrow.


2. I did it. I jumped on the bandwagon & joined Tall Mom's 1,000+ miles in 2011 club! HERE, go join yourself! She broke it down with the mileage to get to 1,000....

83.33 miles/month (sounds like a lot)
or
19.23 miles/week (sounds like a little less)
or
2.74 miles/day (sounds manageable, but I know I won't run every day!)

I know I made a goal to run 1,000 miles this year, so hopefully this will keep me motivated. I am worried about getting the miles in though once triathlon training begins and those long runs are missing from my schedule. I will be marathon training at the end of 2011 though, so I think that will help!
