REI= Awesome!

Yikes, what a weekend!

Friday night we spent a very long time waiting for a table at Cheesecake Factory. Good news, I discovered an REI! What an awesome store, I had to hold back from buying more than this...

My favorite sports bra, moving comfort Fiona (was 50% off)
A Swim cap
Nuun tablets (have yet to try these)
Stinger organic honey waffles and pomegranate passion chews (I've been dying to try these for a while!)

A big MISS on any workouts this weekend and even today. Ive been a lazy bum. I attempted to make my next training schedule by googling sprint tri training programs, but I feel like I'm beyond them. I need more run miles on the weekend to keep my mileage base up for races along the way like the Cherry Blossom 10 miler in April. I decided I will just have to make my own training schedule, which makes me nervous, but it seems to be all I can do.

So far, I did my schedule for the week:
Monday: supposed to swim, but rest instead
Tuesday: Speedwork Run  & Abs
Wednesday: 20 min Swim & strength
Thursday: Bike-Run Brick 60 min & Abs
Friday: 20 min Swim & strength
Saturday: Bike Trainer 45 min
Sunday: 8 mile run

I spent a long time getting supplies tonight for our Tutu making this weekend. We missed our long run & tutu making this past weekend after a long saturday night at the Casino ($40 lost booo), and tons of rain. I am mad at myself for continuously getting off track with my food, I haven't stepped on a scale since Disney, a little nervous to. I really need to step it up. Any tips?

I love REI! It's so hard to go there without buying anything.

Got my Zensah sleeves Saturday(finally picked them up in WA)! They are perfect - I wore them for a 29km run and my legs felt great. :)

My running partner "C" introduced me to REI online about a year ago - I've never been to a store so I can't imagine the awesomeness!!!!

You'll make an amazing training schedule - you're a smartie and super talented!!!! I have faith in your abilities! Good luck!

We don't have REI here, but have had them in the past and I loved them! I always struggle with February, too, but March is a new month and spring is coming!! That makes everybody feel better!

i love REI! Please tell me you became a "member" ... you will get money back at the end of the year and it actually adds up if you really become addicted to that place.

I get into trouble in REI, not to mention it takes me forever to get through the store!
I love Nuun. You should try the orange ginger flavor next. :) The tri-berry is ok, though too.
I did a post about healthy eating a while back that is super basic and easy to follow. Maybe it'll help?

I bet you can make your own training schedule! You know what needs to be done! Just make up your mind to do it. You can!

I LOVE REI, but it is a very dangerous store!!!

Have you thought about looking at Olympic tri plans? That way, you'll still get a swim/bike/run plan, but the run mileage would be more? Just a thought! :)

I say just get on the scale, get it over with, and move on. Sometimes seeing the number really helps motivate me.

I'm so glad I don't have an REI close to me! LOL I'd get in TROUBLE in that store!! :0)

What's REI? It sounds like it would be safer if I didn't know, but I'm going to Google anyway. LOL

I track calories at myfitnesspal and post weekly weigh ins with supportive friends. Without that accountability I'd be off track all of the time instead of just most of the time.
