What's on a Tough Chik's Bucket List?

Did you know I'm on Team Tough Chik?
This team is full of a group of AMAZING women who are inspiring, encouraging, and totally kick ass!
I'm going to try hard to get in answers to our weekly Tough Chik Question!

This week's question:

What is one race that is on your race "bucket list" and why?

There are many races I have my eye on. In reality the Disney Marathon (see my recap HERE), was my ultimate running bucket list. The reason I started running, my ultimate goal. Now that the the race has passed, I need to think of a new "bucket list." There are a few that stick out in my mind....

Running the Boston Marathon with the Team Hoyt Foundation.
We all know I'm not fast enough to qualify, but they inspire me so much, I would love to fundraise for them and be a part of their team while running such a HUGE race like Boston. Major plus for me is that Boston is a short drive from my house, making it easy for everyone to support me.

A marathon running professor of mine got me thinking about this one. The Marathon Du Medoc is in France, and is run in costume from winery to winery where you enjoy fine wine and snacks along the way. Could be one hell of a vacation day! (read more about it HERE in English).

In particular the Masachusetts Wachusett to Westport  Reach the Beach in May. I think gathering together vans of my running friends, and spending a weekend running with the promise of a beach and beer would be amazing.

Thats all I have for now!

What race is on your "bucket list"?
Is it weird I don't have a triathlon "bucket list"?

I have a few Disney races on my bucket list but the ultimate race would be to run Big Sur.
Keep us updated on what you choose next!!!

I don't know if I have an ULTIMATE bucket list, but I would LOVE to one day do the goofy challenge.
I'm doing the race to beach relay in May!! I'm actually doing it as an ultra, so I'm super nervous, but I'm hoping the elevation is runner friendly :)

I've never actually sat down and written out a bucket list for myself, but I'd probably put the NYC Marathon and the Goofy Challenge on there, along with a couple local races - the Bellingham Bay Marathon and the Birch Bay Marathon.

I don't have an "official" bucket list but I would have to put a Disney race way up there. I'd also really like to run the Nike Women's Half in San Francisco!

The NYC Marathon has been on my 'bucket list' before I ever even started running. Any Iron Man is also on my list - I'd love to do it in Louisville but it probably won't be here by the time i'm ready to compete!
