I called the weather man's bluff!

Noreaster, take that.

A few days ago they started predicting a 6-12 inch snowstorm. Yesterday out numbers went down to 4-6 inches. This morning I woke up to a dusting. Hah, take that. As long as my plane can take off tomorrow, DC here I come!

Projected race day forecast is high 58, low 45, partly cloudy with some wind. Trying to pick an outfit for the Cherry Blossom 10 miler, and I'd love your input!

Pink Nike Tempo shorts, Pink CEP socks, black thrive T & black mizuno arm warmers

Black brooks capris & pink Pearl Izumi T (arm warmers if needed)

Brooks black Capris, purpleish pink longsleeve RnR New Orleans Brooks top

Which would you wear??

Last night we went to see 'My Run', since I had won a free ticket from Daily Vitamin F. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't use my movie coupons on another ticket, and that the "special event" price was over $12!! The movie started realllllly late. The 7pm start, was ridiculous. Instead of playing movie trivia and previews before the start time like other movies, they waited until 7:10 to start the movie trivia. The actual movie didn't start until after 7:30-7:45. The movie was good, I was surprised I had never head of Terri Hitchcock's story before. It was pretty amazing to see this out of shape, never really run before man, tackle such a huge challenge.

Another skipped workout today (since we thought we'd have a lot to shovel), we'll see if I get one in tonight. I'll probably be packing since I have to leave super early for Boston tomorrow for my flight with my brother. Have a fabulous day!

Have fun! I think outfit number 2 looks the most comfortable for that temperature, but I also never run in shorts.

I think either outfit 1 or 2 will be your best bet. I would wear #1 only because I get so stinkin' hot no matter the temp and 58 will feel like 98 to me since it has been so cold lately.

Good luck on Sunday!!

Based on your temp forecast, I would go capris for sure... as far as top, whatever is comfortable or that you've been proven running in lately... for me, it would probably be the short sleeve.

The movie was great. Only $11 here and started right on time. Once it started playing, I remembered hearing about it... but mind you, he ran through Peoria, IL... the theater broke out in applause when our city name came across the screen!

Have a great race this weekend!!

You know the start time is gonna be cold so what i would wear is outfit 3...but then i would maybe want a short sleeve top under it in case i got hot...so in that case, outfit 2 would work with the sleeves. But they all look really cute! Have a great race!

I like outfit number 2 and maybe the arm warmers from #1!

I'm really hoping the snow predictions for here turn into nothing too!

Good luck at your race!!

go for short sleeve (arm warmers if needed) and capris. Can't go wrong with that.

I saw the movie too and enjoyed it. Very well done.

I love the first outfit, but I think you would feel more comfy wearing the second one because it's likely to be quite cold waiting around.
Good luck - hope you have a blast. I want to hear every detail of the race - be damned, I'm gonna get into the lottery and actually run this race one day!!!!

Outfit #2 for sure!

#2 would be my pick. I'm a capris fan. Shorts drive me crazy because they always ride on me, and pants are too hot. Have a great race!!

Number 3. maybe I just think that because it is cold here!! Sorry about the movie issues...that's annoying that they didn't start it until sooner. If they would have had an earlier playing time (like 2 or 3) I totally would have gone to see it.

I like number 3--I love that long-sleeve pink top!! But, also number one is my 2nd choice, if the weather's nicer. I'm having the same conundrum...I'd like to wear shorts, but i'm not sure about the temps....such a tricky season.
