so stinking tired.

Unbelievably tired.

I've skipped all workouts so far this week. I MUST get to a run tomorrow.

The weather is dreary & depressing, I keep finding my eyelids wanting to close. Early to bed again tonight.

Have you heard Run Disney's race announcement?

The Tinkerbell Half Marathon at Disneyland. I am so jealous already of anyone doing the race. Tinkerbell is my favorite Disney character, I would love to go to  Disney land, but its a few weeks after the Disney full, and would probably make for a bad financial decision.  So sad... maybe another year.

My race calender is filling up for the rest of the year already! Next up, The Sherrif Sprint triathlon (my first of the season) on May 1, and the Run to Home Base 9K at Fenway Park on May 22! I am looking for an Olympic distance triathlon to possibly do later in the summer/early fall.

Thank you for all your tips on my hair, I think I'm going to practice some french braiding now and see how it works!

Funny you mentioned being tired and skipping your workouts - that's exactly what I just talking about with my new bloggy friend Allie (who comments on my blog, but doesn't acutal have her own blog . . . yet - I'm trying to talk her into it). I have done ZERO miles this week!!! Zip!!! So tired - the cold, the wind, the rain, the dampness - it's all just about on my last nerve. I want beautiful blue skies, gentle warm breezes and sun!!!!! Dang it - bring it on!!!!!
As far as french braiding your hair - can I just tell you that I see lots of very awesome runners at races having their hair braided and IT LOOKS SOOOOO CUTE!!! I'm always jealous. They do it 2 (one on each side) - soooooo cute and I could never do it, but I always wish I could. I think it's a perfect idea!

Steph hang in there. I'm sure once the weather gets better you will see more energy. I just keep plugging away myself. It is so hard to get out of bed when it is cold and I have to put more clothes on . I wish I was running Disney with you. Darn it.

Rainy days always make me sleepy too. I think the sun will return soon!

this weather makes me tired too! I've literally been going to bed at like 8:30 everyday this week. Tonight I'm going wild and staying up til 9:30!

This icky weather is affecting all of us! You've got a busy schedule coming up. Just be kind to yourself.

I haven't run since my half-marathon on Sunday. Traveling back on Monday and then playing catch-up all week has just been too draining. The crappy weather also hasn't helped. I'm hoping to get in a little gentle yoga this evening and then a run tomorrow morning to get back on track.

I just signed up for Goofy Challenge yesterday. Sad that I can't afford to do that AND the Tinkerbell Race (& my knees/legs will probably hate me if I try!) It would be fun to be at the "Inaugural" race. Hopefully the 2nd race will be just as fun--maybe even better because they'll work out any unforeseen kinks in the agenda.
