Disappointment....

I am so disappointed.
I have been planning on racing my second 70.3 at the Patriot Half in Freetown, MA in June. Yesterday, I went to sign up...
SOLD OUT.

Whaaaaaat?
Totally not expected. Now I am forced to make some decisions and weigh the options.

Option 1: Race a ridiculously hilly 70.3 (Rev 3 Quassy, HITS Lake George, or White Mountain Tri)
Option 2: Race Pumpkinman 70.3 the weekend I get back from my Honeymoon
Option 3: Find a race a distance away... 70.3 MiamiRev3 Maryland, or Rev 3 FL
Option 4: Skip 70.3, focus on Olympic & sprint distances.

I'm trying to decide what my best opportunity is...

What option would you chose?
Have any race ideas for me?

What a bummer, I'm so sorry. Disappointing for sure. I'd go with #3 or 4 probably, unless you don't mind the stress of an impending HIM during your honeymoon.

Bummer! I do like the quote about opportunity. Good luck finding another one that works for you. Hilly doesn't sound very fun, maybe one you travel to would work?

Oh no! I would probably go with option 3, as long as you can find a race that is in driving distance. Bringing your bike and everything with a plane seems like a hassle and also probably expensive.

Bummer! Whatever you do, skip option 2.

aww that stinks!! I know that Ironman Miami went better last year than the first, but I can tell you it's definitely hot and humid for that race each year...if that helps any!
